Maoria currently offers one core maori healing session, structured around the depth and time the body needs to actually settle.

## Mirimiri & Romiromi

**Duration:** 90 minutes
**Price:** $100 to $120 NZD (final price depends on travel distance within Auckland)
**Format:** Home visit, anywhere across Auckland

A single session weaving both traditions together.

**Mirimiri** opens the body with firm, rhythmic strokes. It warms the tissue, eases the surface layers of tension, and signals to the nervous system that it is safe to let go.

**Romiromi** reaches deeper. It releases held tension and trauma through elbows, knees, breath, and presence. The two are not separated, they flow as one.

## What to expect on the day

1. Maria comes to your home with a portable table, blankets, and oils. You provide a quiet space.
2. The session begins with a short karakia and a check in about how you are arriving.
3. The bodywork itself runs around 75 to 80 minutes, paced to what your body is actually telling her, not to a clock.
4. The session closes with grounding and water, and time to come back to yourself before she leaves.

- Chronic pain that has not responded to conventional massage or physiotherapy
- Grief, trauma, or significant life events held in the body
- Postpartum recovery (including after cesarean, once cleared by your midwife or GP)
- Burnout and sustained nervous system overload
